MMB -2201

MMB-2201 also goes by the names 5F-AMB-PICA, 5F-MMB-PICA and I-AMB.  It is a potent synthetic cannabanoid. Its structure is based off an indole-3-carboxamide moiety.

MMB-2201 has a structural relation to AM2201 in that it features a methyl valinate bonded to the  1-(5-fluoropentyl)-indole-3-keto moiety that is present in AM2201. The methyl valinate in MMB2201 replaces the napthalene group in AM2201. MMB-2201 may also be described as an indole analogue of the indazole based 5 F AMB.

MMB-2201 goes by the formal IUPAC name methyl (1-(5-fluoropentyl)-1H-indole-3-carbonyl)-L-valinate, has an empirical molecular formula of C20H27FN2O3 and a relative molar mass of 362.5 grams. It forms a crystalline solid at room temperature pressure.

The synthetic cannabanoids that include indazole or indole structures with l-tert-leucinamide or l-valinamide amino acid side chains have become increasingly more common in recent years.
